Hampton Trundle Sleigh Bed

The Hampton Sleigh Bed is laid back and practical yet stylish. Grand in scale and engaging in personality the beauty of cherry veneers and selected solids is finished in a dark cherry stain with hand distressing to bring out the character of the wood. Tenon and mortise construction a centuries-old method for joining two pieces of wood provides strength and durability. Available in twin and full sizes both head- and footboards have rolled and curved shaped veneer panels crowned with trumpet-shaped and turned cap rails. The sleigh bed has an extra-wide footboard base rail and its shapely sides are adorned with a simple carving. The bed also has 18th-century shaped feet and rosettes adorn the sides of the bed posts and the top outside of each post. A trundle/storage unit is optional with this sleigh bed and some assembly is required.
