A foreman at Flat Rock Camp took the opportunity in the off-season to reproduce and refine the original Adirondack chair which became the basis for a furniture operation crafting rustic wood furniture.From this small beginning the furniture operation outgrew Flat Rock Camp and moved to the Grange Building in Willsboro then to a vacant horse nail factory in Keeseville N.Y.
